The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. With this accreditation, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates every activity utilizing the Johns Hopkins Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology forum as a continuing medical education activity offering a specific number of credit hours in Category 1 of the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award. In addition, all activities utilizing the Johns Hopkins Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology forum are planned and produced in accordance with the ACCME Essentials and Standards for Commercial Support.
